Ja'sit. Changing the world one voice at a time
“My sincerest gratitude to the shipyard’s team for their professionalism and a job well done.” These were the words which one of our most recent clients used to grade our completed maintenance of their ship.
“Our team carried out these works, with the attitude and quality that characterize the culture of our company, Infrastructure and Port Services, ISP.
The certified technical teams successfully rehabilitated the ship, always attentive to the client’s needs, according to the planning and established times.”
ISP has demonstrated once more why we consider ourselves one of the most trusted shipyards in the Mexican Pacific.
“My queen,” he’d tell his wife, “we will make a wine and it will be named in your honor.”
She knew that if he said it then he would certainly do it, for that was always his business vision… And so it was. Both architects and entrepreneurs, they forged, alongside their sons, the business development of Baja California; from Amaya Curiel they have consolidated diverse real estate and industrial projects which have transcended through time.
The idea for Vinos de la Reina soon turned into an opportunity to honor the generosity of Baja California and has become a significant business for Amaya Curiel– winner of international prizes for its quality, and recognized for its incredible sights an hospitality.
The Valles de Guadalupe and San Vicente home this business. Now under the second generation’s leadership, they conserve the passion and energy of its origins and consolidate day by day the vineyard’s offers and its products.
Winemaking is a strategic industry in Baja California, and Grupo Amaya Curiel is proud to be a part of it.
It is six o’clock in the evening, and the sun is starting to slowly cascade below the sea’s deep blue touching the yellows and oranges of the sky.
The cobblestone path walks you through a world of rolling waves and enormous rocks in Villas Punta Piedra, and exclusive development by Grupo Amaya Curiel, only a few minutes from Ensenada, Baja California.
Villas Punta Piedra is a subdivisión with one of the highest capital gains in the state. Created with the visión to establish a private community in front of the sea and minutes away from the famed vineyards of Valle de Guadalupe, the residencial área maintains its offer to build homes for an incomparable style of life.
Grupo Amaya Curiel designed the subdivisión as a part of its real estate Project which has contributed to the development of Baja California for the past 40 years. Today, Punta Piedra is synonynous with beauty and good taste. There is none alike in the area.
The vlaues which characterize the Company are also applied in this development: focus on the client’s needs, quality, and security.
Punta Piedra will always be a symbol of the vision of Amaya Curiel’s founders.
Companies today are always committed to community development. Leaders, employees, providers, clients… everyone is a part of this ecosystem in which they créate and maintain, and the wellbeing of the community is part of the coorporative responsibility taken up by those who operate sustainibly.
Sustainability is one of Grupo Amaya Curiel’s main values. We operate according with environmental policies and support the community in protecting the environment, just like we support diverse social causes, as a part of our business model.
Besides environmental causes, Grupo has dedicated themselves in the promotion and education of the arts. For some years now, they operate the Escuela de Formacion Escenico Vocal Ja’sit, an educational project for young vocalists of academic music. This organization’s objective is to impact the community through music, stimulating talent and generating opportunities for the youth, forming values which will push them to have a brighter visión towards the future.
Ja’sit is a door to new possibilities, a path which Amaya Curiel opened up to help the youth think bigger, to widen their expectations of what is possible, to change the world one voice at a tim.
The cargo ship was left abandoned in front of the Port of Ensenada. It held 47 thousand tons of bauxite, a mineral used for industrial works, and 274 thousand liters of combustibles high in sulfur and oil-polluted waters; its machinery was completely flooded. In its asthenic state, it could have sunk at any time. Its sinkage would have brought catastrophic consequences not only to the Bay of Ensenada but to the sea’s flora and fauna as well.
At ISP, we committed ourselves to salvaging this ship. The process was highly complicated and made possible with the help of a specialized team comprised of engineers, divers, electricians, welders, heavy-equipment operators, and a ship and tugging crew. The plan was to bring the ship to one of our terminals to keep it safe, making sure to keep strict vigilance to prevent any deterioration of contaminant materials at all costs.
We went through arduous weeks of risk and precision, but everyone involved tackled every issue presented to them with creativity and great responsibility. As such, on December 30, 2020, the B/H TRIUMPH arrived at our port facilities where it was anchored and emptied, with the toxic materials safely put away.
Sustainability and the protection of our environment is one of our strong values, and as such we pride ourselves with how we salvaged the B/M TRIUMPH and how it represents our community.
